I was just uninstalling Microsoft Visual C++ Express Edition, and just like every other Microsoft program, it's not working properly. It just stopped uninstalling at about 10%. Not frozen, but it just stopped moving. What do I do? End the process and start over?

Suggestions?

I ended the process and attempted to start it up again, but it deleted a file required to uninstall.... Gotta love Microsoft...

I then deleted the folder, but of course that doesn't fix everything.

Dump MS Windows and install a "real" operating system!

Seriously. How about reinstalling Visual C++, then try to uninstall again.
Because your previous installation might have been broken, causing the uninstall process to halt.

Agreed. A halting uninstall is a bad thing...file fragments everywhere! Better to start over with good files...

Great! Then the next move is to delete the Windows partition, and go 100% GNU/Linux. He he

I would consider doing that if my X-fi card was supported, and I didn't have a Radeon.

Either way, I gotta be able to play my counter strike. I couldn't get steam running on wine.
