Hi
I was asking what remote control to use with Foobar or Winamp, compatible with Vista or Xp.
Dont want miracles, just basic controls like skipping tracks..
It would be great if you could shut down the Pc too.

What phone do you have? Not sure about the other brands, but any fairly recent Sony Ericsson (K750 onwards) can do remote via a bluetooth dongle on your PC.

I love using it from my sofa when watching films, changing volume, tracks etc. You can also control the mouse on your computer with the joystick/keypad on the phone.

I have a Nokia E61i, it does have bluetooth, should I download any soft in particular?

Not sure, haven't used a Nokia since about 10 years ago. Just a quick search brought up this:

But I am sure you can get some free versions of this. Of course, you'll need a bluetooth dongle also, like this one:
