I have the flats on my SR80s and absolutely love the sound they give, but my 225s are coming with the Bowls, I've yet to try those out. I'll have to give them a test. I'm interested in trying the GS1000 pads. If that'll work at all.

I'm currently using reversed HD414s and they're fine but like the above poster.. I'd love to try some of the GS1000 big bowls.(not exactly worth $45 for my SR80s)

Stock bowls here and I do also find that after a while, the driver against my right ear gets a bit tender. I bent my headband to tighten up the pressure and that helps a lot, you'd think it wouldn't, but the increased pressure i think pushes my ear flatter. I'd like to try the statement series bagels if anyone feels like sending me a pair

My vote went to the flats - as I usen these on almost all my Grados and Alessandros. The only exception is the PS1, on which I do prefer the stock bowls.

I use reversed 414s on my MS-1s. They're very comfy, I can wear them for 6+ hours at a stretch with no discomfort.

umm...dont remember, really. sennheiser is pretty weird, though. they sent me an invoice confirmation in the mail. then the pads came a couple days after that

Ooh wow.. this has become a tough predicament. I now have the 225s in my posession. and I think i actually like the bowls better on them. I've been listening to them back and forth with the flats and bowls. I think the flats give them a little TOO much bass. at least to my tastes. The bowls seem to mellow them out and give it the detail I love. This is tough.. I can't decide which I prefer

EDIT: after staying up almost all night, I've decided I like the Bowls better. however mine are pretty worn in, I think I'll need to pick up another set, I might try the GS1K pads while I'm at it too.
