Hey Goose, I don't have anything to contribute other than to say that when the wife saw the photos on eBay she said, "It looks like a toaster." I'm still chuckling.

cool, you can toast bread while listening to music!
but really, women do not get any of this stuff, looks wise.
I think it looks neat, I mean come on, wooden knobs!
Anyway, thanks for the heads up, now who will be the 1st to try this one?

In that picture, it kinda looks like a pig...lol, the slots are eyes, and the knob is the nose, etc.

Looks to be about 9"x9" square. But, look at those little cones underneath the thing. Those little cones and footers look so out of place on that massive wooden box, yet kinda cute too.

Personally I think it looks fantastic. They don't sell prefab'ed wood cases with knobs

even bigger. the site lists 14.5" x 8.5" x 6.5".
i still have trouble imagining what that would look like in person. that knob's gotta be like 3" across.

It's a nice piece of woodworking for sure.
But the slots in the top... I just can't get the image of a tissue coming up through there out of my mind!
