What music sounds best with HD595s?

HD595 reproduces almost all genres of music very well. If you are a person who listens to many kinds of music equally, then this one is for you. Versatile man...versatile

I really enjoyed all genres on my HD 595. That was of course, until my K-501 (brown ringed pads) arrived, and did every single genre better.

Somehow I doubt that.

I found electronica, drum & bass, hiphop & alike very uninvolving with the HD595. But softrock, jazz or classical sounded quite awesome. Wouldn't regard them as allrounders.

Jazz, acoustic and live performances are what I find they're best at. I just don't really enjoy them for other styles. Seems I'm going against the general opinion in saying this but they're the least versatile of the headphones I own.

AT A900. Unrivaled king of allrounders.

A closed can with recessed midrange = king of all rounders? Somehow I don't think so

Yes, I was also astonished how good they sounded with anything that was thrown onto them.

Did you ever have the opportunity for a trial?
