Is your username here a reference to the Agony Scene's album?
Haven't been to a real concert in 7 years?
If they're coming to your hometown this fall, check these two tours out:
1. Unearth, Darkest Hour, August Burns Red, Suicide Silence
These bands in the same show were perfect. There wasn't one that I was uninterested in seeing live, and the crowd shared the same resolve, which generally speaking is unusual for this genre.
2. All That Remains, As I Lay Dying, Haste the Day, Through the Eyes of the Dead
All That Remains in my opinion does everything right in the genre and is an example by which many other bands follow (although they didn't pioneer anything, they have the perfect formula for a good album). As I Lay Dying is decent live, and is probably the only band that can actually create a decent-looking circle pit. Haste the Day I haven't seen with the new vocalist yet, but they were really good a couple years ago. Through The Eyes of the Dead is worthless now that they have a new vocalist and their good guitarist just quit last week.
