Oh....My....God....

I was downloading the excellent, classic, Phil Collins track In The Air Tonight...and stumbled across this version with Lil Kim...

it's like...undiscribable (indiscribable?)... check for yourself, on Kazaa or whatever....

I need a drink

This one may not have been well executed (can't say, since I haven't heard it), but the idea makes a lot of sense actually. ''In the Air Tonight'' is actually a favorite of true hip-hop heads. I think it was sampled quite a lot and used as a backing track in many hip hop songs - mostly pre-1995 or so when the whole gansta thing became the vogue. But today, only guys like Puffy can really get away with sampling soft-rock!!!

a sample of this song was used on dmx's first album too.

also, eminem's big hit last year "stan" talks about it in the lyrics (i believe).

get over it. it's a gigantic hit of the 80's and so plenty of people have heard it and adore it, so sampling it probably isn't a bad idea from a production point of view. i don't think it's as bad as sampling say, kashmir.

everytime i hear this song i can't help but think about having sex on a train.. but that's just me.
