Ok. What do you guys think about them, compared to HD201 and HD280 Pro?

I have both, but my hearing senses suck!

I like them because they had some good bass.
MMMM The HD201 and the HD280 seem to have FAR less bass

I feel sorry for you, for owning the, in my eyes worst Koss clip on. I bought them myself, thinking they'd own, but found them pretty much sucky because they fitted too loosely. I wonder if they can be improved (And no, bending doesn't help, I tried the weirdest methods), then again, maybe I'm not being fair since I think open headphones suck. (you heard me, I'm never going to buy another open headphone. Canals all the way)

Edit: well, you seem to enjoy them, while I don't. Bass? I had to bass boost...Then again, I was coming from EX-71's.

Yup, fit is the weak point of KSC50s. I never was all too excited by them, as they do get uncomfy over time (can be improved somewhat by bending but only to a certain degree) and tend to have a somewhat paper-ish treble. Maybe someone can make use of this EQing attempt of mine (Shibatch Super Equalizer .eq file):
Code:

Code:
[left]0 3 4 6 6 5 4 3 3 3 3 3 3 3 3 3 3 7 3 0 3 4 6 6 5 4 3 3 3 3 3 3 3 3 3 3 7 3 2500 2100 -6 1 1 4000 3000 0 1 1 5700 5200 -6 1 1 8000 6000 -1 1 1 9300 8700 -7 1 1[/left]
PDream: Have you actually heard any *good* open cans (preferably circumaural)? But then I guess you're mainly using things on the go, where something isolating and compact is better suited.

IMHO theyre not THAT bad... Yes the fit is a little loose. But heck sonically they are FAR from Kosses worst earclip. There are some ~32 ohm koss clips that are no better than the OEM junk included with MP3 players.

Well, unless you cound my short HD595 moment, no. And, yes, you're correct, I do prefer something isolating.

But, I don;t think the problem lies with the fact that cans are open, the problem lies with that I am a loner, and I prefer an isolated feeling when I listen to music.

Compactness? Well, yes, sometimes. But sometimes I grab a HD25 as well (which isn't über-big, but still not tiny)

I owned the PX100 as well, but returned it for a PX200 (Which I don't like either, actualy reminds me of an open can, and I like my EX71 more...)

The KSC50 is the worst of the big three, then, being the 35, 50 itself and the 75. I don't have such an advanced EQ, it doesn;'t really matter to me.

Please, don't go against me because my opinion is different from yours.
