What it RockBox?

The way I understand it a group of programmers got together and invented a program to run on I-pods. Does not work on the Touch or shuffles but works fine on a Classic. I like it as it gives you the ability to plat Flac files also wave files and they can get loud if that's what your after. It also has a very expanded control of eq and balance, but the main thing is the sound quality. I actually go back and forth between using I-tunes and Rockbox as at times I-tunes is more easy to use if your lazy. It takes time to load larger files and the way I use it, each album must be put in one at a time. There may be other ways to use it but that is what I have found. I change songs all the time due to the fact that I walk around with a Mini or Touch and leave my Classic at home. The Mini I use most has only 4Gigs.
