Mine would be this. She started life as a regular 10/22 and from thier she blossomed into this beautiful butterfly. I ditched the regular stock and barrel and installed a Green Mountain .920" bull barrel hand lapped and cryo treated. The stock is a Boyds Blaster that I hand sanded and finished (took me two weeks 4hrs. a day to complete). Then I dropped the stock hammer and used a Volquartsen Hammer and rigged the internals and trigger work myself. She also has a WeaponKraft bolt buffer, Clark Custom bolt release, Clark Custom extended mag release, Power Custom claw extractor, Power Custom scope mount, and shes topped off with a Simmons Pro 50 6-18X50mm scope. I also free floated and glass bedded the barrel.

I have put in more time, effort and money into this project than anyother. Because of this she will shoot .010" 5 shot groups at 50 yards as long as I do my part. My record group measured .0063" and this is the same rifle that got me the Order of the White Feather on the Black Death Target. I am only number 63 in the world to have accomplished this. I also use this rifle to compete in U.S.B.R (United States Bench Rest) competitions.

I am sorry if this is not very PC for some of you, but I am a proud supporter of my 2nd ammendment rights and firearms are my number one hobby over all else. My Wife is also a big supporter of the 2nd ammendment and she compeats is Skeet and Trap with her 12ga. So I thought that I would share what my true love is over audio equipment and was wondering what other members loves and prized possessions are besided audio equipment. Of course if you prized possession is you cans then that is cool also, but I think a lot of us have other passions than music.

No offence, but I would hardly call people and loved ones "possessions".

Nice rifle :-)

For me it would probably be photographs and negatives from..well my life.
Ain`t no replacing those.

(Especially one of a girl I had a crush on, I didn`t have a picture of her but a fellow student of mine gave one of her to me when she saw how much I missed her...and I still do.)

Quite true, and I was going to repost with my real answer, so here it is:

My car stereo system.

I listen to music constantly, and I have systems for everything - portable, living room, bedroom, home office, work, and many more places. Yet, my car stereo is my favorite. This is what I have:

Alpine CDA-9807 MP3/CD head unit
Boston Acoustics Pro-Series 5.5 Component speakers (front)
Boston Acoustics NX-97's (rear)
JL Audio 12" W3 dual 2-ohm sub in custom box (in trunk)
JL Audio 500/5 Amp (in trunk)
Monster (DCAP-1FDS)1-Farad Digicap
Dynamat extreme in trunk

Something about the perfectly tuned system to my ears in my 1997 Town Car. I get the most enjoyment out of my car system.

Probably my PC, because of all the stuff I can do with it. Second, probably my DVD collection (yep, music is downstream from my DVD's... I'm actually more into watching movies than music listening these days).

Hey, I lean heavily toward liberal, and that sounds just fine to me. The only thing I disagree with re: guns is assault weapons -- I see no civilian uses for them, they're attractive to gangs and I think they should be banned.

competitive shooter ?

My youngest boy 16 goes to a State Technical High School being a more hands on type of guy than his brothers who went to regular public schools and joined the schools rifle team.
This really surprised me 'cause

A-I had no idea any local schools were even allowed to have a competitive shooting program

B-he never showed an interest in this area before and I had to scramble to outfit him with everything needed in like a week and have the time to sight in his .22 before match #1

Pretty cool actually,a second generation shooter and it only took three tries (youngest of three)

Same here. Next would be my wedding ring, perhaps that is first...toss up I guess. Then my notes I have taken throughout university. Irreplacedable.

That's one cool rifle. My most prized possesion would be my cd collections. I probably have things worth more than my cd collections combined but the time and efforts to get them is hard to replace and some of them are difficult to find.

I've got no doubts now, its my college diplomas and professional certifications!

I've never thought of them as "prize possessions" as such and didn't really consider them all that important to me. That is, until Hurricane Ivan nearly destroyed my house in Cayman. I was "stuck" in Illinois and out of contact with the people who were serving as caretakers for the place. Several days later when I finally got through to a cell phone, the first thing I asked about after making sure everyone had survived, were my "shingles"... nevermind the audio toys, those can be replaced.

Are these readily replaceable? I have never tried to have one replaced, but is it just a fee? Or much red tape?

I'm sure you could get something done, but it wouldn't be the same to me. It might be difficult the reestablish exact dates, and most of the people who would have signed initially would be long gone from the institution or possibly dead. Thankfully, mine were all safe and sound. I didn't mean to imply otherwise. It's just that suddenly I realized how important they were to me in the sense that they are symbols of so many years of hard work in my life.

That is one hell of a nice rifle!

My most prized possession is my comp. Life would be so boring and useless without it

Next would be my music collection.

What's the lever in front of the trigger? Is that the magazine release? That's a nice 10-22. I'd pull out my pic with me wearing my CD3000s and .357, but someone always go ape-shiat every time I do.
