So far it's definately the Westone UM-2. Small, light, comfortable, great sound, non-microphonic, and oh yeah...they sound pretty nice too

Man, we really need a Shure/Westone smily!

Hmm, in order of rank, the ones I've owned (formerly owned are in [])

1. Sensaphonics 2X-S;
2. [Shure E5c];
3. [Sony Qualia MDR-EXQ1 (the Qualia EX71-like earbuds)];
4. audio-technica ATH-ES5;
5. Sennheiser PX200;
6. Sennheiser HD25-1 (with OFC cable upgrade);**
7. Sony MDR-EX71/70; and
8. [audio-technica ATH-EW9].***

Best,

-Jason

** HD25-1 isn't that compact, but is great for portable application. Sound quality is better than the higher ranked phones, but given size/comfort/whatnot...

*** Maybe I didn't give these enough of a chance/burn-in.
