Whats you dream headphone system. My dream is as follow's,

DAC- Bel Canto 3.5
 
Headphones- Audio Technica L3000

I would probably go with my DAC19 DSP/(Trafomatic head one/GHP not decided)/Edition 10 if it combines the strenght of the ED 8 and Pro 900 ... But it´s certainly a dream to hear at least. Will most likely stay a dream too. But arrrgggh it´s open and I also need a closed headphone. I could get very far on the Pro 900/ED 8 combo though.

and i know that the above will sound better but since that ones too easy, ill list another based on my favorite full sized can
 
MSB Dac 4 Diamond -> Phoenix -> Aude'ze LCD-2  ive never heard the dac or the Phoenix, but that dac looks sick, and for some reason though ive never heard an ACSS amp, i think that they must be the best. on another note, the Liquid Fire i heard the LCD-2's with at canjam was pretty stellar too, wish we coulda heard the Liquid Gold.

At the moment, a Wadia with digital volume control, FirstWatt F1 and the K1000. That wouldn't be too bad

Would I like anything more than my WA6SE with my Audio Technica W1000? As non-high-end as it sounds, I just absolutely love the sound of my set-up right now. I haven't heard anything better and I'll let my ignorance keep me happy. Maybe a better Woo Audio amp and the W1000x? Still collecting and trading...

I've finished building my dream rig a few weeks ago.
Carat ruby MKII DAC -> M^3 amp-> HD 800
Not the absolute best, but I happy with it for now.

udac -----> Grado Sr225.  I have 50 percent of this rig in the udac.  The Sr225's are not far behind.

The dream rig is in my sig.  I haven't bought any new gear in the past 15 months or so.
