so whats the best for me, i have 2 cowon daps so tweaking the eq should be fine.

X2. haven't tried triple-fi, but the E500s might suit you better with those 2 genres.

X2, since you can get them for really cheap and they have A LOT of bass.

not a really big fan of bass........i can improve it with eq.
i dont even know where to get the triple fi yet, i just read it from a tread that it is available for 255usd.

as of now the ebay deller of e500 is out of stock so the only thing i can get is the er4p. any suggestions???

Well, the Triple.fi has a lost of bass, just like the super.fi 5's, and eq-ing the er4p isn't going to make a difference in the bass, so I would suggest going for the e500's then. They are GREAT phones.

Are you sure? EQ makes a big difference, especially with S.

I will vote on the E500 but it doesn't have very heavy bass without a synergy amp to drive it. But its details, and sound balance are one of the best in IEM. Super.fi 5 Pro is only heavier in bass but the bass is not good defined; also the mid/treble are slightly lacking of details. The differences are very significant in these two options. Or you can try UM2 which may be more suitable to you.
