I was on slickdeals.net and there was a post about 50% off Audiotechnica ATH M50's coiled.  By the time I saw it they were gone but I searched for straight cable and was able to get a set for 50 bucks, pretty excited considering I was about to order the JVC HA-S500's for about the same!

Damn, you got one hell of a deal.  I'm usually a pretty trigger happy slickdealer but never saw that deal.  Best deal I've ever had were on some used Creative Aurvana Lives that appeared on ebay couple years ago.  Was able to snag about 3 of them on 3 different auctions for around 20-25 bucks shipped each.  They quickly became one of my all time favorite headphones and are easily worth their 70 dollar normal prices.

Bose AE2 for $30
Crossfade LP - demo model at Costco - $30
M80 from Amazon Warehouse for $86 - a $46 credit = $40
 
but I think my two faves are Triple-fi 10 for $99 and MMDT for $99 (many Head-fiers got these deals)

Ha, I remember the Triple Fi 10 99 dollar deal on amazon.  Made myself a few hundred dollars on ebay from that = D

I bought two with intention of selling one and, in effect, getting mine for free. My 23 year old son borrowed mine and I didn't think I would ever get it back as he loved them so much. I wound up giving him the other pair as a Christmas present. I then got my thoroughly broken in pair back.
