I went to the Microsoft Store because I had some sound issues with my computer I wanted fixed. An employee fixed it up, and then gave me a pair of V-Moda Crossfade M-80's they had set for display. The cord was broken, though the headphone itself was in good condition (thanks to the naturally tanky build). But without a second hear, you'd think it was the headphones that were broken. I ordered a replacement cord online, and the headphones work perfectly! $170 pair for just $15. I'm so glad I went to the store that day c:

Wow! I know people that do that. They think the headphone is defective ,because the cord is ripped. That's an amazing deal.

OT: I got a pair of Beyerdynamic's Custom One Pro's for $140.

This past Dec. a couple of pairs of TDK  EB950's for 10 bucks each (minus my senior discount) at Ross.

7-8 years ago HD580 for $125, 9/10 with all packaging materials and papers.  Similar time frame, MS2 for $150.   I sold that 580 when I got another pair for around $140 with HD600 perforated earcups. and sold the MS2 when John released the HF-1.  I broke even on each sale... the way I see it, I got to demo each extensively in my rig.

I got the HD590s for roughly $180 back '02.  It even came with a Sennheiser watch that I still have hah.

Found a pair of AkG K240DF 600ohms at an ewaste warehouse.  Did my best Robocop "I'd buy that for a dollar." impression and went home with it.
Turned out to be a better deal than I thought.  Because none of my source could push it properly, so I went back and got me a Wadia Digimaster x32.
