I have some camera equipment to sell (better quality stuff). Where does one go to sell it? I looked at the classifieds of http://www.photographyreview.com/defaultcrx.aspx
which is the camera equipment version of audioreview, but the classifieds aren't very active there.

Any ideas? Thanks.

It's funny you ask that question, because Audiogon recently launched a photography sister site (http://www.photogon.com) which is intended to be the same as Audiogon, just for cameras.

what's the name of the camera that sounds like "Machina"?, or something Machina. it was a foldable rangefinder in a 120mm format and 80mm lens?

I've had Mamiya c220, (2)330f, m645.

but thanks to your prodding, the camera is a Plaubel Makina 67

http://people.smu.edu/rmonagha/mf/plaubel67.html

and back in 1979 i turned down a RB67 with 4 lens for $800. what a dope i was. a few years later i traded my m645 for the three 220/330's aith a full compliment of lenses.

my problem with the Plaubel Makina was that i kept waiting for an equivent 105mm lens. i just don't like 80mm (50mm equivalent). my lens of choice has always been the 105mm, a portrait lens.

but a Plaubel Makina 67/180 never came out. so i wait to this day...

Wow, cool. I've had medium format camera lust for a couple of years now, but could never justify the cost. The good news is, I'll most likely be going to China for a while next year, where cheap TLRs are everywhere, so it might be time then to finally get my toe in the door of the bigger formats.

Thanks guys, you've been a big help. If you want/need a mint Pentax 645 and lens and accesories, let me know!
