I'm looking for a pair of headphones, preferably right around $100 for recording. They probably would need to be a little bass heavy (they are not for me). Preferably closed back headphones.

SRH 750DJ from Shure ? The ATH-M50 are the most popular solution, but the're a bit higher than 100 bucks.

If recording then you'd want bass light so that the end product is more bassy, at $80 it's hard to beat Sony mdr-v6 for a very flat sound, great for recording.
