what headphones (im new)?

i have just bought an iphone and have only the supplied earphones

im new to anything costing more than £30 plus

was wondering what would be good to buy,

ive mostly been looking at shure but havent a clue on what to buy, and if the top line ones are worth it with mp3 players

any suggestions about any others,

any help would be appreciated, i like a broad sound

Do you want earbuds like apple earphones or in ear phones like Sennheiser CX300??

What music do you listen to and what mp3 will you use it on?

guess it depends on what you're looking for, im quite entry level, and I've used the sony DJ500's for a while. if you're looking for in - out usage, those are practically indestructable. For home usage I'm at sony SA3000, kinda bright, but it depends what you're listening to. Hear the sennheisers have some pretty decent entry levels as well, just sony's are easier to obtain

well i was looking to buy upto around £100 price range but if theres something really good then i may go a little highre

id like to try the in ear noise cancelling

i listen to metalcore, screamo stuff mainly

my iphone mp3s are usually 320kbps
