Have:
Focal Clear - first high end headphone and still my favourite. Will always be my reference point.
Audeze LCD-2C
Sennheiser HD600
Campfire Audio IO - these are not very well rated and I can see why, but I got a really good deal on them and they look and feel fantastic

Want:
Meze Empyrean - such a polarising headphone and I'm really curious to find out if I'll like it or not
Audeze LCD-4
Focal Stellia
Sennheiser IE600

My current favorite headphone is the Ibasso SR2. I'd really like to find a 2nd set to compliment them. I really don't care if they are open or closed, I just want to find something I enjoy equally, or maybe even a bit more. It just needs to really click and jive with me. I've tried several, and they just haven't gotten me there. I've narrowed my options down to three, so it looks like I'm just going to need to buy, try, and possibly sell. I'm looking at the Hifiman Edition X V2, Audio Technica ath-ap2000ti, and the Focal Radiance.

Have:
Focal Celestee
Hifiman Sundara
Sennheiser 58x Jubilee
Audioquest NightOwl

Want:
Focal Stellia
Focal Clear
Hifiman Arya

I wish closed-backs weren't so expensive. To get the quality of a $300 open-back I had to spend $1000 in closed-backs -_-

Pretty much moved on to IEMs for that reason. Because, most of the best closed backs are expensive but they're also not very portable or easy to drive, which, IMO, defeats the purpose. If I'm by my setup I might as well just use an open back. I still use my EMU Ebony at home though for an easier to drive and affordable option.

Beyerdynamic DT770
Sennheiser HD598 Cs

inbound
Treblab Z2 (Amazon lightening deal today) Now outbound way to much bass, muddy mids, lacking highs - but I have very old ears. Still no clear dialog like the DT770 in movie.

Sony MDR 7506 had them before but will try again. (eBay deal) Arrived today...don't know why I ever got rid of them before, Great sound straight out of laptop. Oh, now I know why they didn't stay around.... they are very uncomfortable on my large head with big old ears, lol. Too bad, so sad.....Update a little bending of the headband and voila comfort and clarity.

Marantz MPH-4 50mm Over-Ear (MusiciansFriend Stupid deal of the day $39.99 today)

many others come and gone. Nothing else on the radar really liking my 770 best so far with Amazon HD10 tablet.

inbound now Audio-Technica ATH-MSR7 (Renewed by Amazon) and a Sennheiser HD 300 Pro off eBay with 15 hours on them.

next... Massdrop x beyerdynamic DT 177X Go
