750s finally came in. I'm really surprised to find they have smoother treble/upper mids than I remember. Smoother than the K501s. Makes some of my favorite albums listenable again. (Looking at you, Another Side of Bob Dylan.)

Ultrasone HFI-780 I just got last week. Looks like I finally found the headphone with all my favorite qualities. A speaker like open headphone soundstage similar to the Audio Technica ATH AD700 but not as exaggerated while still giving me the isolation of a closed headphone. Noticeable bass that plays nice with the detailed treble. Makes me feel like am listening to music on some great speakers in a room perfect for audio enjoyment. Games feel really there with audio that is very complete with every note heard down to the final fading tone. Dialogue in movies is very fleshed out hearing everything clearly where usually I have to pay close attention with my bookshelf speakers.
 
Very addictive sound where if it were not for the some times distracting environment with loud people I would gladly put away my speakers and just use the Ultrasones all day and night.

Just purchashed V-moda bass freq in nero color with 3 button remote to go with me new black apple nano.  I like these buds, the feel on the rubbery remote is very cool and they fit well in my ears without any fatigue, mic is very clear.  Been using another pair without the remote, over 200 hours clocked on them, so they are def burned in. 
 
IMO, I like the build quality of the v-moda products and these buds sound well when listening to classic rock and club tunes. Nice product at this price point.
