You could see them useing headphones at the stands. It's seems to be closed design to attenuate the exterior noise...

kenwood are used, i always see ron dennis sporting those

the sound level is ridiculous..i was standing 3 metres from the circuit..and man..my skull was shaking.

I don't know about Mclaren, but Ferrari uses Sennheiser's HMEC 460 or HME 110 aviation headsets, or the predecessors or variations to those models.
