Hi,

Can anyone recommend aheadphone that works well with chord hugo 2 that is very comfortable and not fatiguing for indie rock and jazz.

the hugo 2 is very open transparent on my speakers but would prefer a warmer sound through the headphones.....so did not like the sound with the focal....

I was looking at the audeze 3F but was concerned that many people have driver repair issues...

I am considering the meze but not sure its a rock and roll headphone and whether the hugo 2 has enough juice for it.

is the zmf verite too forward sounding?

Check out the Aeolus. The Hugo is pretty in your face so the smoothness of the Aeolus may pair really well.

I don't think the Hugo and Verite would be a good pairing. They are too alike and the sound will probably be fatiguing. Just a guess. I had both but not at the same time.

I have the Meze Empy. and find the pairing with the Hugo 2 to be very good.
