What happened to Chu Moy

He's around. He's just more into Headwize than here, but he pops in from time to time. After all, he's the father of the all headphone people here

Just imagine what would have happened if MERTON were allowed to stay here. The first Head-Fi member ever to have his "Headphoneus Supremus" title changed to "Hugeus Painintheassus"

Of course we'd also have ended up like Headwize, very little growth in new members and a general downturn in posting activity.

I don't think I have ever since Chu Moy post here the entire time I've been here and haven't seen him actively post at Headwize for many months.

Well, Merton is not behaving as bad in Headwize. Granted, he's pretty much the same, but not so over the top. I think he has found something other than headphones to keep him busy and just drops ocassionally at headwize.

heh didnt jude ban the entire university ip range he was at one time ... heh getting the university banned from headfi heh

It's Cedar Valley Collegue, in Texas. I don't know how many alumni they have there, but they are missing all the fun here just because of one guy. Perhaps I should send them his name and address so they can get revenge for that (j/k). Anyway, I just hope that Merton gets his act together and is able to work out of his problems.

Back on topic, Headwize is still pretty active. Actualy, a lot of guys who used to be here and left, for whatever reason, go there instead. It's still a great community, Merton and all.

I've asked this before and never really heard--what exactly did this Merton fellow do? I've read some of his "mertonisms" and I'd have voted to keep him around for those alone!

actually, i kinda felt that he brought a pretty offbeat sense of humour to head-fi.

Dear Ampgalore. The guy is a jerk, a racist and a prick, using as an excuse for his lack of redemable qualities his various mental problems and use of medication. Believe me, you don't need him around here.

By the way, I have nothing against people with mental problems. Some people here have confided on us their problems of the sort and have always being the nicest people, not like Merton, whom I really hope gets better someday.
