What good are headphones that don't stay on your head?

Hello all!

I have a pair of Yamaha RH5MA's and I truly enjoy their sound! The problem is that they have no grip on my head; if I don't sit very still with my head level they slide off forward or backward. I mostly use them sitting at my computer, but if I'm moving about with them plugged into my iRiver they're nearly useless. Aside from making my head larger or using adhesives, what can I do to keep them on my head? Is there any way to bend the band such that it will grip my head more? Does anyone else have problems with this or is it unique to these 'phones?

Thanks for your help!

i use my audiotechnica closed back studio monitors most of the time and it doesnt really stick on my little head. if i look down, it drops off. i cannot use it effectively for tracking when doing recordings because of the movement involved when singing or playing...

sometimes i would somewhat put it under pillows to compress the headband... good for a short time though...

maybe get a bigger head?
