I could only get a 30 second clip off iTunes which wasn't very much. However, it reminds me of Ali Farka Toure. He's not exactly like that, but I think you'll hear the similarity. "Savane" is a good place to start with Toure.

Not really a "genre." Elements from several places (Spanish, perhaps flamenco-like guitar; speedy, hard-edged punk) mashed up together. Of course, if you came up with a good name for it, the musicians would be forever grateful.
