dsp-500s! i have the dsp-400s and the directional sense on them are really good. Since I have an integrated sound card i needed something with a good usb sound card, I tried the sennheiser pc-155s as an "upgrade" but honestly I felt "blind" when I put then on. If you don't have a good sound card I dont think that these (the ones you listed) cans will help you.

I prefer my dsp-400s over my pc-155s. The dsp-400s are fold up and dont produce much bass, but the directional sense is FAR superior to the pc-155s. I'd only imagine the dsp-500s would be even better, although i've heard bad things about quality control. I really feel I wasted my money on my pc-155s. I only use the the pc-155s usb sound card for my laptop since my headphone jack is busted.

So what gaming headphones would you recommend with the same price tag as the HD555's?? (no not the A500 or the dt770)

(or doesnt it matter so much that the 555's leak?)

I don't see why it would matter

The 555 is a great gaming headphone with very good positioning.
