What do you guys think is better for electronic music? TMA-1, Vmoda m80, Beyerdynamic DT990,or Hifiman HE-300.

I am looking into investing some money into one of those for electronic music (dubstep, house, electro house etc..) Which one do you guys like, and think I will like based on my music? Also which amps would work well with them, because I am going to buy an amp for whichever ones I buy unless I don't need one.

Edit: I have changed my options to: DT 770, or DT 990, or Ultrasone 900, or TMA-1

Not sure what kind of price limit you're at, but the listed cans seem pretty high up.  Overall I'd recommend Ultrasone.  The HFI-580 might be one of the better values for electronica. Tremendous bass will give wubstep a whole new feeling to it.

Denon D2000
M-Audio Q40
Beyer DT770 PRO
Beyer DT990 PRO
Ultrasone HFI 2400
Panasonic HTF600

Look at these. A simple Fiio E10 will be sufficient for all of them.

Very best,

I'd rate them in the following order according to my taste for electronica :-

 1) Beyer DT990 Pro
 2) Beyer DT990 Premium
 3) V-Moda M80 (mid bass quite prominent but warmer than the other two above)
 4) TMA-1 (the least competent can here and warmest by far, huge chunk of mid frequency missing)

Beyerdynamic DT990 Pro 250-Ohm, for when you want to feel like your in a movie theater.
Headphone amplifier really required.
