the dunu tridents were the OG recommendation, but seems they are discontinued. What do you think is their spiritual successor?

For reference: the Sennheiser HD 650 is my favorite pair of cans of all time.

Also I would like a pair of iems that have MMCX or 2 pin connectors.

I use a pair of JVCs FW01 and these are very warm, almost dark sounding IEMs with MMCX connectors. The sound is smooth, very warm and a bit bassy, the treble is never fatiguing but I don't think they are successors to the Dunu tridents (never heard them). The Andromeda 2019 is also a bit warm, very detailed and technical sounding IEM with MMCX connectors, I use the Andros with foam tips and I have never find them fatiguing, sibilant or strident, the sound is very well balanced in fact out of my Cowon P2. The shozy zero is also a zero fatiguing IEM but these do not come with detachable cables.

I'm fairly treble sensitive, and my two current favorite IEMs are the AAW x TCA Project 4+2 and the Empire Ears Bravado MK2. The Custom Art FIBAE 4 is a close second to those two.

Hi @Jerrod

I'd reco. the Orb , relaxed tuning and the Globe, moderate energetic tuning.
Both have very good textured bass, excellent mids.
Both have decent separation, imaging and details.
The Orb having smooth treble, whilst the Globe extended but controlled treble and a larger sound field.
They are tuned for very long listening sessions....
