Hi all, recently i had an idea of getting a DAC for my computer audio setup.

My budget is about $1500 USD and i had been searching for reviews regarding the highly regarded Benchmark DAC1 USB, Musical Fidelity X-Dacv8 and Lavry DA10.

Are there any other DACs out there should i keep a look out for?

I am using it with my Musical Fidelity X-T100 hybrid int amp -> a pair of bookshelves (going to change it soon)

Would prefer to have a lively, clean, fast, dynamic and spacious sound.

never tried DA10 and XDacV8, but I personally don't like DAC1. It sounds quite cold and very analytical.

I prefer my PS Audio Digital Link III over it.

Stello DA100 or DA220 (perhaps a MKII).
