Now, I know this may sound crazy coming from someone who has been into this hobby for near 3 decades and got through piles of Stax gear and the like, but my interest in music has re-awakened since I got my Sony NWXA818 and Shure SE530s in the last few weeks. I simply adore the sound. Heck, I think prefer it to my Stax...
Anyways, I simply want to be able to recreate the Sony sound on my desktop, while I'm tapping away at my PC. My source will be my PC via Itunes, so I want a DAC/amp into which to plug my Shures.
Why not just use the Sony, you ask? Well, I can get just a tiny proportion of my music on it and want access to my entire library.
Any recommendations welcome. The smaller the unit, the better. And since I'm UK based, something that's readily available over here would be a big bonus.
Thanks in anticipation.
