One version or another has been around for a seriously long time and my first exposure to headphones was a pair of KOSS PRO 4xx cans in 1970.
I know that around the same time there where also studio cans by AKG,beyer and Sennheiser but they were not in widespread use and very hard to obtain. The model numbers did not migrate as in the koss example (just adding 4s or letters) so mabe not purely a "current" production run like the Pro 4

My first real can was a koss pro4X plus in 1986.
Prior to that I had a senn portable of some kind, I forget the HD model number. It looked a little like a PX100.

I'm guessing Hirsh has one of the older ones if you mean absolute age but it's either Jude or Neil if you just mean around Head-Fi...
