Hi,

I have a Marantz CD player which feeds either my JDS atom of my Sabaj tube amp. At the moment i just have the standard 2 male - 2 male RCA and have to physically swap them around which is really annoying.

What I would like to do is split the signal to both amps although only one amp will ever be turned on/used at a time.

Depending on my mood and music choice i will either use the warmer tube or the more clinical atom.

I have seen single rca male split to 2 rca male. Can I just use two sets of these? I appreciate i might have to increase the volume accordingly.....however if only one amp is turned on can you get unwanted feedback/interaction with the other amp is turned off?

Thanks in advance for any advice and/or links to appropriate cables products.

What you need is a Schiit Sys.

The RCA splitter box seems like it would work. There is also the splitter cables though more money. I have never done either though?

Apologies if i'm being really stupid, which is possible.....but the picture of the Schiit Sys rear that i'm looking at has two sets of rca in and one set of rca out. I need one in (from CD player) and two sets of out (going to different amps).

It also has no power input. It runs passively, you just hook it up in reverse depending on what you need, you just need to make sure you get the signal flow correct and leave the volume to max that way it doesn't attenuate the signal.

Aha, I see. Thanks.

So, could i also use the JDS OL Switcher? I ask this because in the UK the Schiit is £60 and the JDS £40 albeit i might need to buy a rca/3.5mm cable given there is only one rca out on the JDS.
