Just got this from Acoustic Sounds today - WOW! This is by far my favorite Genesis 45rpm that's come out so far, probably because the source material was recorded better than the Gabriel ones, but it sounds pretty majestic and you can really hear how those songs were arranged. If you're a Genesis vinyl fan and like this album, I can't recommend this one enough. I got the Nursery Cryme one last month and don't like how Peter's vocals sound - I think they were much clearer on the CD because they had to digitally clean those early ones up - though the instruments really come through in a big way.

It felt a little magical holding an album and studying the artwork when I was a kid. Cd's are good in that I don't miss the crackling of a well worn vinyl but to this day they're just perfunctory and I only glance at the cover art.

I've got plenty of 'legacy' LP's that are over 45 years old and I've played a lot over the decades and have few if any tics or pops and no 'crackling' whatsoever. In my experience,'well-worn' has more to do with treatment of the vinyl than with age....
