Have to post another - The Cure live stream from London for their new album. Fantastic as always.

So great

I'm thankful you did post once more! I streamed instantly after you did post and it was great, fantastic. Long time follower and listener until and included Disintegration, after '91 I was almost always disappointed about their new stuff, so I missed many many albums including the new one, which I feared again. After thunder and rain I hoped for "The Same Deep Water As You", which did not come. But "A Forest", "The Walk", greatest songs and performance. Even "Close To Me", marvelous. But the rest, too. I soaked it in. Only that guy with that AA on the guitar, I wish it was Anonymous alcoholics, but more probably it's this American airline  (sorry for too much text). Now listening:
The Cure —Faith

"The Same Deep Water As You" is one of many favourites, I was hoping they'd play when I saw them here in Dublin in December 2022, and again during this live stream, but alas it did not happen - amazing performance though... I really hope they do another tour! I'm a fan since about 1989 now - basically grew up with them, and to this day one of my favourites bands of all time. It was nice to watch them perform, knowing there were over 60k people tuned in from around the world at the same time - while not quite the same as being there in-person, certainly the next best thing! Cheers.
