^ Just have to listen to this every so often for nostalgia reasons if nothing else (but I do truly still enjoy the hits from time to time). One of the first "adult" (not child oriented music/sing-a-long stuff) albums I owned, on cassette, when I was around 10. And yes, there was a time when Marx was considered cool lol: most all my peers had this on cassette too. This is a first press vinyl ripped to FLAC, and the production quality on this album is simply stunning imo, which alone makes it a pleasure to listen to.

(At day temps still around 80 here, it sure seems like endless summer nights!)

^ The first pairing of trumpeters Freddie Hubbard and Woody Shaw makes this a standout.

Joe Bonamassa - Muddy Wolf at Red Rocks.png
Three Muddy Waters songs.

Howlin' Wolf.

This is one of Joe's songs.

Recorded in 2015 ... Joe's tribute to Muddy Waters and Howlin' Wolf. His
usual band for the next few years: Michael Rhodes bass, Anton Fig drums,
Reese Wynans keys.

Had some lagniappe time, so spun up Joe's album from England. Yummy.

Pretty sure you're either the third or fourth person to have told Sifxt that, Zik. I was before you.

The trouble is he's not too egregious in it. Two posts of one video isn't bad. Problem is that we can't favour him. Then everyone wants two posts. Then they want three. Then the spam begins. I don't know... we have no mechanism except social pressure to control the behaviour of others. I stopped reacting to his posts, even when it pains me not to give it a 'like' for the music.
I understand @Elegiac. I respect the rules and follow them always. That being said, I don't understand the reasoning behind it.

Let's say that "Joe" posts 1 item @ 10:00 a.m. I scroll thru and see it. Joe posts again @ Noon amending the first post. I return to this thread and scroll. Now I see Joe's 1st post + the 2nd. @ 3PM Joe posts for the third time today, below his original post. I come back to the thread at 4pm and scroll again and I see Joe's 1st, 2nd, and 3rd post. Doesn't save me any time by having 10 posts individually vs.10 posts following this threads' rules.

There are other music related threads without this rule and to be honest my experience is 100% the same as viewing this thread. I keep questioning this, and haven't come up with a satisfactory reason for the rule. I must be missing something. If anyone is so inclined, I would appreciate an explanation as to the benefits of "the rule"

Thanks!
