After my all-time, second to none #1, Bill Evans and #2's, Kenny Barron and Gonzalo Rubalcaba, I'd put George on a very close #3. The news of his passing a couple years ago really hit me.
Madre mio! Rubalcaba is unbelievable!
I think George had a hard time after the death of his beloved wife, he survived only for one more year.

I've got a good picture of George when he was with Zappa in 1974; just scanned it so I still have to work on it, but I'll put it up when I do.

I saw him in a concert in Philly back in 1971 and all that I remember is that I loved it. Fortunately, I wasn't driving!
Those were the days! Had one or two of those myself.

Dance pop is definitely not my normal kind of listen, but there's something refreshing about the raw honesty of Charli's songwriting here, and the production is pretty addictive..
