What Are You Listening To Right Now?
1990’s sub thread for me:
My first experience with a CD (Counting Crows- August and everything after). My dad’s cousin had this cd, so I borrowed it to make a tape and played this song non-stop.
Counting Crows - Mr. jones
Then had this album on cassette tape
Ace of Base - I Saw the Sign
But eventually was introduced to Green Day and bought Dookie on tape. Got it on cd once I was in high school.
Green Day - Basket Case
Cassettes were great! They never skipped
Now back to my regular music:

If I had to choose a song that defined the 90's
for me, I think it'd be this one ..,
Great song, I like this one a lot too >>

'Urban Hymns' was a brilliant album; I was fortunate enough to see them in 1997 shortly after its release....
First time I heard that Abendlied (evening song) from Rheinberger

Thompson Twins - Into The Gap
I have their "Greatest Mixes" CD which includes a remix of Hold Me Now. Also have the 12-inch single of In The Name of Love, which I really like and still play to this day. That's really their only song I like now, though I've heard a few of their other songs.

Just got this in today. Japanese paper sleeved CD. SHM Edition. I'd already had this on both vinyl and CD. but being Amazon dropped it below $17 bucks ($16.43) I figured what the hell. It has slightly more range than the regular CD. Anyway, I've always liked this album since getting when released in 82. Really enjoy everything on this, but my favs are Maxine and The Nightfly.

You've got a nice vinyl collection. Anyway on that I like Hand In My Pocket, Ironic, Not The Doctor. Such a strong recoding as well. I'd imagine that vinyl album sounds great. I just have the normal CD release and is actually sounds pretty good.My submission to the 90’s sub-thread:

BTW, you got me listening to this now. Currently on track 13 - Does that album contain the extended You outa Know (Jimmy the Saint Blend) / Your House track?
