I've been a Metallica fan since I was in high school. I always felt that they were a more sophisticated metal band than others from their day. They always had awesome melodies and a kind of symphonic architecture to their music. Their music always spoke out to me, and it continues to do so today. Surprisingly to me; there are many other artists who feel the same. I'm currently listening to "The Metallica Blacklist" compilation that was recently released. So many artists that have been inspired and influenced by Metallica. Check this compilation out for many versions of popular Metallica songs and see how all these artists put a different spin on the original songs.

Bela Fleck - My Bluegrass Heart CD1.jpg
Bela's new album, released on Sept 10, 2021. I classified this as "Folk" when
I ripped it, but it's really progressive bluegrass similar to the work of New Grass
Revival. Most songs are Bela's compositions. Recorded in spectacular fashion
at Peter Frampton's studio in Nashville ... the sound stage is a mile wide. A
myriad of talented mates join in.

This is Jerry Douglas - dobro, Stuart Duncan - fiddle, David Grisman - mandolin,
Mark Schatz - bass, Bela Fleck - banjo, and Billy Strings - guitar.
