BBC Radio Three does five programmes each week during the day called "Composer of the Week". They did Maurice Ravel this week and I have a huge love of Ravel's music so I have been paying particular attention. I did listen to them when they went out live, but in the evening I like to revisit anything I've heard on the radio during the day and I am doing that now.

It is an innovative album. When I first heard this album many years ago it seemed to induce angst, I don't know why, but over the years I have come to very much appreciate it.
