An album which has stood the test of time. I still listen to it.
Saw the band in 1972 at an Awards Winners' concert in London
Not a bad line-up, and all for £1.00

Warrior:

Edit: which segues into Throw Down the Sword with some brilliant interplay between the twin guitars of Andy Powell and Ted Turner. Nice bass playing by Martin Turner too.

In glorious MONO. This 2009 remasted mono version is different from both 2009 remastered stereo & 2017 remixed stereo versions. The 2017 stereo remixed version was done with the original mono recording in order to get the best sound possible & parts missing on both the original stereo mix & 2009 remastered stereo versions. The 2009 MONO remaster is different & “on some songs” better, to these ears. Some of the songs, e.g. Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds, still play at a different/ slower speed & sounds more psychedelic in the middle eight.

Listening w/ GS3Ke > Vintage Kenwood KA-8006 Int. Amp., 70wpc [1974] (in mono mode) > Schiit Loki > Teac PD-H600

I just finished listening to this album that came out earlier this year. Norah Jones, Sasha Dobson and Catherine Popper harmonize beautifully in a combination of original music and well done covers.
