Listening to "Mr. Wendal" by Arrested Development. It reminds me of a Heinrich Boll short story called "Anekdote zur Senkung der Arbeitsmoral" that I have always enjoyed. Interesting ideas from the Cold War.

Of course, then I shifted to the album, Damaged, by Black Flag. My tastes are all over the place.

bTW i saw you have or had an Oppo-Ha2 i got it again and i like it for my underpowered sony Walkman A25.

but technically my NW-WM1A on balanced has the same piwer as the oppo. To my ears the Ha2 sounds not as detailed as my wm1A

I still have the Oppo, but rarely use it since I gifted my Shure SE846 to my brother. The mobile rig is just back-up gear now.
Edit ... I didn't use the DAC in the Oppo. My mobile player is the AK240 - the Oppo is only the amplifier. The SQ is decent
