I discovered Little Freddie King watching the 2015 documentary film "I am the blues". King began playing in the mid 1950s at the age of 14 in Blues Juke Joints w/ such luminary names like Babe Stovall, Slim Harpo & Champion Jack Dupree. He's now 78 years young & still going strong. What I like about his music is that nothing is polished or studio engineered. The production of his music his the same as when he's playing live.

"Curse Your Little Heart" is the best of a group of great albums by this great band. I first saw them when they opened for David Byrne about seven years ago. I saw them recently at a local club. They have a multi-instrumental sound. Really good musicians. Think Gypsy Jazz transformed into indie rock. Unique...

...and speaking of David Byrne. My favorite album of all time bar none. A masterpiece!
