Russian Circles-Memorial (2013)
 
This is my first Russian Circles CD. They've been on my radar-instrumental post rock. Really strong album. It's surprisingly heavy-post rock, prog metal (almost), no vocals and really engaging. Big recommend from me.

I'm delving into the Gill Evans/Miles Davis  Collaborations-recently purchased these two. I haven't heard Miles Ahead which is the only Evans/Davis collaboration I don't have. Somehow, Sketches of Spain has been on my radar for some time as a classic. But, I think Porgy and Bess is their strongest I heard thus far.... 
 
All fantastic of course. Great late night music.
