Today is Memorial Day in the United States. Most of us have the day off and it is the traditional start of summer in the States.

So, what are you doing? A barbeque? Are you on a vacation? Or do you have to work?

By some small miracle, I'm not in the office today. I've been lazing around with headphones and the laptop. My sister is having a barbeque starting around 4 - I need to clean up a little and do some shopping. I'll take some good beer over and my brother-in-law specifically requested a few pounds of scallops to grill. He'll be getting them.

Went to the beach with some cousins... one of em was an a-hole who kept screaming, swearing, and acting like a ghetto trash stereotype. Also, I needed to use the bathroom the entire time, but the one there was closed... I felt like I was gonna explode.

Oh yeah, I think I lost around $100, and I'm pissed.

Pshh...

i have spent my holiday mostly on the somputer and in my room working on homework and projects.

I am not even close to done and it is 9:30PM after days of these 8-10 hours working. These professors should be brought up on criminal charges. I am working way too dang hard. Yeah, they knew taht none of us would take holiday - they made all of teh due dates on Tuesday. Plus, have a bunch of lazy team mates for this one class and I just ended up doing half the work and the other guys did half the work in a 6 person team.

Screw them. I spent most of my holiday indoors...working!

Put up the flag for my dad today. Though in the future, I'll put up a proper pole and pulley. Hopefully it wont get windy and start folding and tying up the flag.

In Israel we have 2 memorial days, one for the holocaust victims (Yom HaShoah - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia), and one for the Israeli Fallen Soldiers and Victims of Terrorism (Yom Hazikaron - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia).
On the holocaust memorial day, I watched (on TV) the Official ceremony (with the president, prime minister etc) and on the second memorial day, I went to memorial service of two of my cousins that both of them died at the same day at the 1973 Yom Kippur war (they were brothers), one died at the Sinai Peninsula against the Egyptians, and one died at the Golan Heights against the Syrians.
