I'm interested to see what you guys think are the most comfortable headphones. I have beyer dt 770s and they are pretty comfortable I think.

The Sennheiser HD800, Beyer Dynamic T1 are very comfortable to wear and they both sound great.

The HD800 was by far the most comfortable for me.
I've tried a lot of the flagships (besides stax/ultrasone) and the HD800 won out for me.
The LCD2 is also extremely comfortable but has a bit more clamping force that might be noticeable at times.
The T1/T5p sometimes slide down and rest on my ears, causing them to become sore.
Q701 had a weird headband design that would put a lot of pressure on a single spot cause extreme discomfort (wrapped some kleenex around it to soften it).
Mid-end grados were horribly uncomfortable to the point where it's the first pair I sold due to comfort.
B&W P5 is quite comfortable if worn properly but still not as good as the HD800/LCD2 for me.
I could go on but the bottomline is the HD800 wins

I find the DT 990 to be very comfortable ... after I find the right spot on my skull for the headband. While they're not perfect, I routinely forget I'm wearing them.

The AKG K240 Studio is the most comfortable headphone I have ever worn. They're super light, the earpads are huge and soft, and they literally disappear on my head after about 15 minutes of listening at the computer.
 
They do get a little warm over time, but not too much.

DT-770 Pro 80 (find the DT-880/990 terribly uncomfortable. These have deeper cups)

Q701 is comfortable and the bumps don't bother me. Not as comfortable as the K601. The 601 seems to have softer pads too and are not angled.

The bumps on the Q701 are such a piss off for me.
It seems my scalp is insanely sensitive so that bump in the middle presses down the majority of the weight on one spot.
It also doesn't help that my head is bigger than average (at least I assume so since I always find myself extending the headbands near max for most headphones).

AUdio Technica heaphones with the 3d wing design are the most comfortable as they are so light and clamp so little that they basically disappear after a few minutes of use. Beyer takes second place for me.

I have to agree.  I recently got a pair of ATH A900x's and they are bliss to wear in comparison to my previous headphones.

Agreed! The K240 Studio is relaxing in both comfort and sound.

Vintage Stax Lambda variants (SR-Lambda, SR-Lambda Pro, SR-Lambda Signature).
 
The Nova series onward uses a redesigned headband with higher clamping force, though. Softer pads can help with long-term comfort, but they still don't just rest on my head comfortably for hours like a pre-Nova Lambda will because of that.
