I'm allowed to listen to my iPod (Nano, if that matters) while i'm at work but i cant use isolating earphones/canalphones as i wont hear the phone ring.

The last earphones i've had were Sony MDR-ED31LP, but by that time i'd gotten used to the big bass sound of canalphones so they were disappointing and slightly uncomfortable.

But what earphones do you think provide the most bass?

Decent un-amped bass and SQ can be had with PX100
or, of course, the OPEN Darth Beyers.

those are headphones arent they? i'm looking for earphones, not a fan of the headband i'm afraid

the ksc75 has pretty good bass. It is not an earphone but there is no headband. They are cheap as well.

Otherwise you may want to look into the yuin line. I haven't heard one but they are supposed to be really good.

i'll see if anyone sells Yuin to the UK

as for the ksc75, i just looked up some photos and i've heard of them before and how they sound good but again, too big for my liking.

I have to say my favorite non-isolating earphones were the MDR-ED228 from Sony, but they stopped making them about 5 years ago

The Sony MDREX51's don't isolate all that much and are pretty bassy. And very cheap. Sound pretty much like the JVC Marshmallows.

If you can pass by earphones try the Koss PortaPro or PX100.
