I installed this program but have no idea what anything means (just that if I turn on preamplification it sounds better)-

Can someone post the image with proper settings so I can just copy them?

I think bass should be a lot better; these headphones are suppose to be much better than my previous Audiotechnica M30x, but I swear that the bass on those is better.

Use this for reference, at 0:12.

Maybe I should just get Fiio K1 or Fiio A3 instead of bothering with this?
Onboard laptop Harman audio might not be sufficient.

The HE400is is practically flat from 1000hz down to 10hz; midrange to lower treble is a little weak but no spikes. There's a slight spike at 9000hz - program one band on EqualizerAPO (on full custom mode) to have 9000hz as the center frequency and set it to -3dB.

Anything more than that and you'll just screw up what is otherwise a smooth graph.
