What annoys you most at head-fi?

Other (specify): Polls like this one.

Edit -- a few others:

* The way a certain model of cans is the greatest thing since sliced bread this week, and 'lame' or forgotten next week.

* Joe Grado hero worship.

* The automatic bias against soundcards.

* Group-grope audiophilia ("this seems to sound better than that... do you think so?" "Yes, I think so." "The matter's decided then").

* Price-based or 'snob appeal' audiophilia.

* People who hear their crappy sources and/or recordings through headphones and pronounce the headphones crappy.

* People who object to people who continually go back and edit their posts.

Useless posts or posts by people who think they know what they're talking about, but don't.

People who even CONSIDER looks as a factor in deciding on a pair of cans or speakers.

How about a whole "team" of posters who seem to intentionally post useless stuff?

1) No use of the search function
2) Newb questions, especially when you feel obligated to respond
3) People who take this place way too frickin' seriously (a few threads down)

Yup.

Well, for portable cans I can understand a bit, within limits. For all of us who remember magicthyse, there are times when you can go way overboard (his custom title was "Better to look good than to sound good", iirc).

Newbie threads aren't bad, you gotta start somewhere. I started with a meek "what headphone should I get question" and I still ask those questions now, so I have no resentment towards newbies asking questions.

Newbies are cool, everyone was a newbie at one point. I rather have 500 newbie posts than 500 usless posts everytime!

I'd say unanswered posts.

You come here with valid questions, after searching and not getting the answer you were looking for, you post. Soon, every question will have been asked, from "What is the meaning of life?" to "Should I buy these awesome Bose headphones?"
Then this will cease to be a discussion forum.

Reply: This has been discussed before on a different thread... use the search function bell-end... NO TALKING!!!

Learn to live with useless posts....If a post or thread seems useless just by looking at the title... DON'T READ IT!!

EVERYONE was a newbie without a clue. Some people have over 1000 posts and still don't have a clue. I Don't think people like coming to a new forum like this, with a few questions and a lot of ambition, only to be told to use the search like they're a moron(which I've been guilty of...

)

I won't go so far as to say that this applies to a certain age group either.... merely imply it..

P.S. I don't refrigerate my peanut butter....
