HI,

i have FiiO X1 and SHURE SRH440 headphones (105 dB, 44 ohm). What amplifier do you recommend to me? Sound and bass seems to be a little weak. Is FiiO Q1 a good choice? Thanks!

The X1 has an internal amp that is more than capable of driving the SRH440 properly. Buying an external amp for the SRH440 is not worth the money. The headphone is simply one with a weak bass. Try using the built in equalizer to adjust the sound to your tastes.

If equalising doesn't work, then the SRH440 is simply not the headphone for you. You might want to look into headphones with more impact down low. Perhaps something like the original Sennheiser Momentum or the AKG K553. The latter is not suited for portable use by the way.

When plugging headphone directly into the X1, make sure the 3.5mm output jack is set to "Headphone" not "line-output"

Not even sure the FiiO Q1's DAC function would work with the FiiO X1
The Q1's will function as an amplifier only, with the X1.

You might check out the FiiO A3 (E11K) headphone amplifier.
When daisy chaining a headphone amplifier, from the X1's 3.5mm jack, make sure the X1 is set to Line-output, not Headphone Output.
Line-Output will feed a better analog audio signal, to the external amplifier.
