What affordable DAP to rule them all?

I own the Fiio X1 and I love it, but it is currently experiencing the notorious scroll wheel issue in which the cursor jumps around every few seconds upon rotating the wheel. I plan to get it fixed, but I'm also itching to upgrade at the moment since acquiring the M50Xs.

So, what under $200 DAP is king at the moment? I want great sound quality, and I'm currently opting for either the Ibasso DX50 and the Fiio X3 II. I'm leaning towards the Ibasso because I read of potential scroll wheel issues with the X3 II identical to what I'm currently experiencing with my X1.

Are there other affordable DAPs that I missed? I haven't been here in months you see so I'm a bit in the dark at the moment. Some artists I like include Radiohead, Arcade Fire, Okkervil River and folk musicians Joe Purdy and Damien Jurado. I also prefer a full bodied sound teeming with detail.

You're on the right track with a used iBasso DX50 imo. Or a used DX90 if magic finds you one. There's XDuoo X3 getting some good airtime, and then the FiiO units..

Yes, I would, I've own/owned both.
 
The touchscreen is a big advantage on DX50 for me and I prefer the leaner more vibrant sound of iBasso DX50. X3II is quite strong technically, good separation, great response throughout the lows to highs, though I prefer a brighter, higher clarity sounding unit and DX50 offered that. I quite happily used my DX50 for over a year.
